New team members!

Join us in welcoming two talented PhD students to our team, MSc Ivana Milošević and Msc Zorica Novaković! Their passion for research and unique perspectives will be invaluable assets as we work towards our project goals.

MSc Ivana Milošević, a Ph.D. student of Biotechnology at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad, is a Junior Research Assistant at the BioSense Institute, Center for Sensing Technologies. Since January 2023, Ivana has been working in the Center for Sensing Technologies, specializing in the development of biosensors based on flagellar filaments. Her work primarily focuses on enhancing the sensitivity of these biosensors for detecting heavy metals, particularly nickel (Ni). Ivana’s contributions also extend to modifying electrochemical biosensors, demonstrating her commitment to advancing biotechnological innovations.

MSc Zorica Novaković holds the position of Junior Research Assistant  at the Center for Sensing Technologies within the BioSense Institute. Concurrently, she is pursuing her second year of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Science, University of Novi Sad, specializing in analytical chemistry. Her research focuses on the advancement of ZnO-modified electrochemical biosensors, specifically tailored for applications in agriculture and the food industry.
