Dr. Slavica Savić Ružić

Dr. Slavica Savić Ružić is principal research fellow at the Center for Sensing Technologies of the BioSense Institute. She participated in numerous national and international projects and coordinated one research Bilateral project and one project financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. She was a visiting research scientist (postdoc researcher) at Pontificia Universidade Catolica (PUC) Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Her research interests include materials science, advanced ceramic materials processing and characterization, solid-state chemistry and physics. Current activities are focused on the synthesis and characterization of MOx as gas sensors as well as (bio)sensors based on 2D materials and MOx/2D composites for agricultural applications, medical devices for breath analysis, healthcare, etc. Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific papers published in highly ranked scientific journals.
