Workshop sessions- H2020-MSCA-RISE project NOCTURNO

The workshop was held online on June 5, 2023, starting from 10 am until 3 pm where six eminent researchers presented their work. Dr.  Deepthy Kavungal, EPFL, Switzerland, Mid-infrared plasmonic metasurfaces for biosensing, Dr.  Rohit Chikkaraddy, University of Birmingham, UK, Colour at Nanoscale,  Prof. Lilia Vladimirova, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Bulgaria, Biosensors based on metamaterials, Dr. Anton Perchikov, BioSense Institute, Serbia, An Asymmetric Spoof-Fluid-Spoof Acoustic Waveguide and its Application as a CO₂ Sensor, Prof. Franco Marabelli, Plasmore, Italy, Detection of specific biomarkers using plasmonic metasurfaces and Prof. Andrea Alu, Advanced Science Research Center, City University of New York, USA,  Nonlocal Metasurfaces for Imaging and Sensing. The researchers held presentations on their research to the audience participating in the Nocturno project, but also to all the interested members from the Center from Sensing Technologies. Dr Nikolina Janković, Dr Vasa Radonić, Dr Slavica Savić and MSc Ivana Podunavac, as team members of MicroLabAptaSens project, participated in the event.
